This BMW 320 turbo had filled up the intercooler with oil. There was damage to the front blades and wear to the bearings causing oil to leak past the seals.

The wastegate was not damaged but was clogged with oily carbon deposits. After a cleanup and a replacement core assembly inserted this turbo was given a 2 year warranty and ready to be re-fitted to the vehicle
