this Mercedes vito turbo is part of a design flaw causing damage to the actuator.

the turbo is fitted too close to the crankcase sensor which rubs away the plastic actuator casing.

this can then leave the copper wiring inside exposed.

this particular turbo showed slight damage but the casing was intact, the sensor can be easily turned away from the actuator so that it does not rub anymore during engine operation..  happy days!
