this Mitsubishi shogun turbo looks fine now but came to us with a snapped turbine shaft.

the reason for failure was due to a restricted oil supply in the turbo oil feed pipe.

hard carbon had built up in the pipe causing the bearings to ‘burn out’ through lack of lubrication.

a new turbo core was fitted once the housings had been cleaned. given a 2 year warranty.
