busy end to this month!

A busy end to the month here at Turbo Repairs U.K. after a slow start to June.

The repairs we make here are always more popular than the ‘off-the-shelf turbos’ simply because of the difference in pricing and the customer will usually go for the cheapest option.

Most of our repairs are turned around in 3 working days using our courier people to pickup and drop off anywhere in the U.K. If its close to the Blackpool area we will pickup personally from garages meaning an even quicker turnaround.

Electronic actuators have shifted this month, remember to identify by looking for the g number on the aluminium casing e.g g221, g139 etc.

One actuator this month had its number erased so we got it in on a repair instead, this meant a slightly longer turnaround but at least the customer new he would have the correct one returned and with a 2 year warranty.

Turbos repaired this month include Mercedes c200, Audi s3, Ford Mondeo, BMW 320, Ford Focus tdci and Range Rover td6 to name but a few. All were repaired in 2-4 days turnaround depending on location and all were given the 2 year warranty.

If time is of the essence then don’t forget we can supply new and re-man turbos that can be shipped out for the next working day, again with 2 year warranty.

Turbochargers associated with the 1.6tdci Peugeot engines are still coming in with the same oil problems. Ford Focus. Citroen Picasso, c2, c3, c4 etc have all shown to have oil restriction issues, usually down to the feed pipe or the pickup strainer in the sump.

A guy posted on our Facebook page of having a Ford Focus 1.6 tdci from new with 130,000 miles on the clock and has never replaced the turbo. He puts it down to replacing oil and filter every 6000 miles which goes to show that clean oil is turbos best friend!
